THEY ALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING FEATURES;
'F' mark - thermal tested & approved for mounting on normally flammable surfaces to comply with F-Marking requirements with 35w lamps.
Integrated intumescing protection
1 hour (60 minutes) fire rating - tested to BS 476 Part 21
Acoustic insulation - tested to BS EN 140-3:1995 & BS ES ISO 140-6:1998

FIRE RATED 'HOOD' OR 'BAG'
This is full breathable fire hood for low voltage or mains GU10 down lights. In the event of a fire IN THE ROOM BELOW, the intumescent material OF THE HOOD expands to fill and seal the cut out, SO PRESERVING THE FIRE RATING OF THE CEILING.
